Artist's CommentsHige: Where are you headed? Although often overlooked or cast-typed, I think Hige has a unique and very important role in Wolf's Rain. Amidst all the angst of a post-apocalyptic ice age, he has a way of lightening just about any mood and easing the tension, especially between Kiba and Tsume. I think without Hige, Wolf's Rain would have just been out of balance and a little too gloomy. Now this isn't to say that Hige was just comedic relief, it's more that Hige provided a sense of welcoming that most of the other wolves weren't used to being around. As for the cosplay, it has made improvements but since it snowed overnight, I didn't have much preparation for the wig. *cough* Yeah, I lost any sort of Hige styling after the last con not to mention I had styled it without cutting it to recycle the wig later on so the length is better suited for Kiba, but I can overlook it mainly because of the snow. Plus I already have so many wigs that I feel bad whenever I need to buy a new wig.

He was my favorite character from wolfs rain.
<3
you don't see many wolfs rain cosplayers
Hige was one of my favorite characters too, though I gotta admit Cheza was so pretty! So true, it's part of the reason I wanted to do a Wolf's Rain cosplay actually! It seems Hige cosplayers are even more rare. *Shrug* Ah well, it was alot of fun to (cos)play in the snow! ^_^
