CON SCHEDULE
First things first, unfortunately it's looking like Kitsune and I will most likely not be in Animazement's Artist Alley this year. I only made it to the Wait List, while Kitsune didn't get an application in before they closed the applications.

However! The silver lining is that we will be attending Momo Con in Atlanta, Georgia this year! While we are still waiting to hear back as to whether we will be getting into Momo Con's Artist Alley, but we are hopeful. Momo Con sounds like great fun!

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, on to the photos! Although I've still not finished my Con Report from Nan Desu Kan, I can't help myself. This past Christmas I was gifted a wonderful new Sony Cyber-shot camera from my parents. Ever since then I've gotten extremely trigger happy. The following are some of my snapshots exemplifying the past two months.
Kitsune and I started the new year by cosplaying! We did the first proper photoshoot for Kitsune's L cosplay on the night of Dec 31!
Also during the first days of the month I spent time with ~Crabtreemonster and ~Project-XIII for our annual winter visit. In fact, most of this month was spent socializing. Well, socializing and getting trigger happy with my new camera!

A friend of the family did his first comedy routine at a local comedy club.
Despite the bitter cold, the evening went well.

Another huge
THANK YOU to *
Naranda for gifting me another whole year subscription as a birthday present! Thank you, thank you~ Your generosity is so touching.

When the weather is fair I go to the park. Sometimes I practice tennis against cement wall, while other times I just swing on the playground watching the traffic go by. I swear there is something about swinging that is therapeutic.

"You may be an artist if you take photos of your homework instead of doing it"

Somehow my classes piled up homework all at once within the course of a week, so for a while I was almost drowning in assignments/tests. However (as always), with the combination of putting in the extra hours of work and teachers pushing assignments back I was able to come out on top.
Earlier this month, some of my family members and I spent time with my extended family by the coast. The weather remained overcast for the entirety of the weekend, something that made me very happy. I got to work contently in the quiet of my Grandmother's home, occasionally looking out over the water listening to "The Rain Song" by
Led Zeppelin.
Upon arriving back home, the next morning we awoke to a blanket of snow coating the earth. Since classes had been cancelled (due to aforementioned snow), my mother and I went for a walk in the winter wonderland.
After the break ended however, school reared it's ugly head with a vengeance. The weather has been gorgeous though that I could hardly mind. Especially the sunsets, watching the sun as it casts it's last rays through the trees has become a fast favorite past time of mine.

I took this photo from my school's parking lot. Beauty is everywhere if you look for it.

Dusk, as the parking lot lit up.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
